Gundam Card Game
Gundam card scanner and card value checker
TCG Vault scans Gundam Card Game cards on iPhone and tells you what they are worth. Point the camera at a card and TCG Vault reads its card number, matches the artwork and shows the market price of that version, refreshed daily and in your own currency.
One Gundam card number can cover a base card, its + and ++ alternate arts, an SP version and an Edition Beta print. Below: how to tell them apart, the most valuable Gundam cards right now, and the other scanner apps.

How to check a Gundam card’s value with your iPhone
-
Step 1
Pick Gundam and point the camera
Choose Gundam in the game menu at the top of the scanner and hold the card flat inside the frame.
-
Step 2
TCG Vault reads the card
On-device text recognition reads the card number in the top-right corner, such as GD01-001, and TCG Vault matches the artwork to pick the version, since alternate arts share the number.
-
Step 3
See the price, save the card
The market price, refreshed daily and shown in your own currency, appears with the card. Add it to a collection and the collection’s total value updates.
On each card you see its name, set, collector number, rarity and market price. Premium adds 1-, 3- and 6-month price history, more than one collection and a direct link to the card on the marketplace. Auto mode keeps scanning as you swap cards and flags duplicates, which helps with a stack of new pulls.
What to check on a Gundam card
-
01
The number is at the top right
Unlike most games, Gundam prints the card number at the top: GD01-001 with the rarity and a block number next to it. GD is a booster, ST a starter deck, EB an extra booster.
-
02
Plus signs mark the alternate arts
LR, LR+ and LR++ can all carry the same number; the plus signs mark the alternate-art versions, and LR++ is the rarest and most valuable. SP and LK tags mark more versions under the same number.
-
03
Edition Beta is its own printing
Edition Beta cards (β in the block icon) reuse retail numbers with an older frame. They are priced separately, and some are among the most valuable Gundam cards.
-
04
English and Japanese strips look the same
The number strip has no language code, so the card text tells English from Japanese. TCG Vault’s Gundam catalog covers the English-language cards sold on TCGplayer.
TCG Vault and other Gundam scanner apps
Bandai’s Gundam apps teach the game and run events but don’t scan or price cards. TCG Vault reads Gundam cards, finds the version and shows what it is worth next to the rest of your collection.
Why collectors use TCG Vault for Gundam
- Gundam and eleven other games in one app, so a mixed collection doesn’t need a scanner per game.
- Market prices refreshed daily and shown in your own currency (30+ currencies), with the Cardmarket price next to the TCGplayer one wherever Cardmarket lists the card.
- A running total of what your collection is worth, with 1-, 3- and 6-month price history on Premium.
- Auto mode for stacks: keep swapping cards and it keeps scanning, flagging the duplicates.

When another app fits better
- Rare Candy fits better if you want free unlimited scanning and plan to trade on Rare Candy’s marketplace.
- TCGplayer fits better if you buy and sell on TCGplayer: scanning is free and the marketplace is built in.
- HoloDex fits better if you also collect Dragon Ball Super, which TCG Vault does not cover.
